5 Books Every Mommy Should Read to their Kids


Why is Mother’s Day my favorite holiday? It’s the time of the year where my kids have no choice, but to let me cover them with hugs and kisses. When my kids were babies, I was repeatedly told to enjoy them because they grow up too fast. I wish I could go back in time because they absolutely, positively grow up too fast.

According to my 11-year-old son, he is “too old” for me to tuck him in at night and my 7-year-old son gets all red-faced when I call him “honey bear” in front of his friends.

It’s the time of the year where my kids have no choice, but to let me cover them with hugs and kisses.

The celebration of Mother’s Day is this weekend and I’m looking forward to the cuddles. This is my time to tell my little honey bears embarrassing stories about when they were babies and read them a few of their childhood favorites at bedtime.
